Malta is a well-connected island from all over the world. You fly to Malta International Airport (MLA).  Once you land in Malta you have the option of two ferry services to get to the Island of Gozo. Summer schedules for both ferries are published in June.

Gozo Highspeed Ferry

From Malta International Airport take a bus or grab a cab to the Lascaris Wharf Terminal in the Grand Harbour in Valletta which is approximately 10 minutes from the airport by car or up to 30 minutes by bus. You can either grab the next fast ferry that arrives or alternatively, book online ahead of time and spend some time in the beautiful town of Valletta before you board.

Gozo Travel Information

Gozo Channel Ferry

The iconic Gozo Channel Ferry carries both foot passengers and vehicles and operates 24-7 (weather dependent). From the airport take the X1 bus, grab a cab or hire a car and drive approx 40 minutes to Ċirkewwa Ferry Port north of Malta. Ferries run to schedule and you only pay when you leave Gozo

Taxis

ECabs, Bolt and Uber all operate on Malta and Gozo. Download the apps before you arrive. Grab a cab from Malta Airport, or the Gozo ferry terminal when you arrive on the island.


Buses

Malta Public Transport operates a reliable bus service across the island. Check out their website for a handy journey planner, and seasonal offers. 


Car Hire

There are lots of car hire companies to choose from. Book your vehicle in advance and pick it up from the airport or on Gozo.

There are so many things to do on Gozo Island therefore a memorable experience is guaranteed for all.
